Breakfast might be the most important meal of the day, but it’s definitely difficult to decide what to make every morning! Sharing a delicious four ingredient healthy pancake recipe that’s a hit with adults and children both.
Four Ingredient Healthy Pancake Recipe
I love recipes that you can prep for before hand. You can make this mix the night before and fry fresh in the morning. Another huge plus is that you can use those over-ripe bananas you have staring at you from the kitchen counter! Tip: You can freeze bananas going ripe and use for this recipe!
Now let’s share the healthy pancake recipe.
- Pour one cup milk over a banana (you can use a frozen banana also) in a blender cup.
- Add one cup oats flour and then crack an egg over it.
- If you don’t have oats flour you can add whole oats (they will get blended anyways).
- Blend everything together.
- Pour 1/4th of the mix over a heated greased pan.
- Fry both sides well.
This recipe makes four pancakes. You can double the recipe for more pancakes.
So what makes this recipe healthy?
Oats flour is more wholesome than white flour. It’s extremely nutritious and packed with phosphorus, magnesium, copper, iron, zinc, Vitamin B1, B12, and folate. Oat flour will help you feel full longer because of the high fiber content of it and it can also help those who suffer from constipation find a natural relief. Bananas provide sweetness to these pancakes and are much healthier than white sugar.
