Which parent takes over maths homework in your house? For us, it’s me and as the kids get in older grades it has definitely been getting more difficult! We tried out Mobius Math Academy for Zeynab who is in grade 9 and Hussein who is in grade 6 and have loved them!

We love that the classes are online and engaging. There is a combination of digital learning along with live classes with an instructor. Maths is made fun through games and competitions. Kids are learning maths by doing and not by listening to a lecture.
The best part? Except for the live classes, all the other maths units are available for free! There are unlimited solo activities, all guided by Mobius’s adaptive curriculum with AI-powered math guidance available on each problem. These classes are super fun with games and competitions (based on grade level). The children get right into the maths problems and the difficulty increases gradually. Having a couple of other kids in the same class actually makes the program more fun and engaging for kids. As parents we get weekly updates on the child’s progress along with any areas they are struggling in.

The Mobius math curriculum is in line with what is typical for North American school boards for grade 1 to 12. There are different programs by grade levels. Topics are introduced, and then in subsequent grades, built upon. This repetition and return to foundations build strong mathematical reasoning skills. Topics are grouped in themes, which often continue for many years. The theme will often contain material that is both well above and well below grade level but your child will be levelled to the math that is right for them within the theme.
