I’m very excited to announce the start of my Shan Foods Taste Happiness Journey as a Brand Ambassador for Shan Foods. Shan Foods is a global food brand known around the world for their southasian spice mixes, accompaniments (like pickles), desi desserts, plain spices and staple food like rice and lentils etc.
Over the years Shan Foods has helped bring the taste of home to kitchens around the world. When I moved to Canada eight years ago and had to cook for the first time on my own, I relied on Shan Foods for the familiar taste of a home-cooked meal.
I loved the warm welcome we received from Shan Foods. A truck rolled over infront of our house carrying a wonderful surprise package. While my children rejoiced and played with the bubble wrap and the emptied carton (catch live action on our snapchat: urdumom), I drooled over the contents of the package. It was full of a variety of Shan products, along with an apron to use while cooking, a bamboo utensil set and a hot pot to serve my creations.
I’m excited to start this journey and share the recipes and stories as I work with this well-loved global brand.
