This year Hussein turned five in July and was adamant that he wanted a farm birthday. We had heard great things about it and birthdays at Kayben Farms did not disappoint! Here are all the details about Hussein’s amazing fifth birthday at the farm!
I was amazed at how hassle-free the whole experience was! To the extent that I kept emailing the team to check if I needed to bring this and that. They were true to their word when they said that all we needed to bring was birthday cake, party favors and our selves! Everything else including decorations, food (cheese pizza), juice, paper plates, napkins, cutlery, farm activities, petting zoo, wagon ride, icecream treat and even the knife was taken care of by them!
Kayben Farms is located in the south of the city and is a lovely family-run business. It’s a beautiful property bringing children closer to nature complete with play structures and farm animals. The staff is super friendly and there is a cafe with the most delicious food onsite!
We arrived to be greeted by this wonderful sign!
All our guests were directed to a lovely central birthday barn area that was already decorated—how amazing is that!
I loved how the tables were covered with beautiful flower vases in the middle. There were play structures all around us and the children busied themselves in playing as the parents enjoyed some chit chat.
An event manager was assigned to us who greeted us, made sure everything was in order and confirmed the timing of when we wanted food brought etc. I loved their thoughtfulness in bringing out two baby chairs since we had two babies in our guest list.
We honestly didn’t have much to do, except stand and pose. This is what parents look like when you have birthdays at Kayben Farms!
We loved the beautiful property which is huge. There is even a covered area for rainy or windy days!
It was hard to get a family picture together, since the birthday boy was having too much fun to pose!
But when the cake came out, he made sure to inspect it carefully to make sure it was following his favorite farm theme.
We were so lucky to have my mother, Bibi, at the party with us!
Everything worked like clockwork and the food came out at the time we had requested. There are a few options to choose from and we chose the cheese pizza. I loved how they brought everything we needed for the party in a box including the plates, napkins, cutlery, and even the knife to cut the cake and serve it. The juice boxes were kept in ice to keep them nice and cool.
The cheese pizza was delicious and baked on site in a clay oven! We brought a few extra things to serve to our guests and the folks at Kayben Farm were totally OK with outside food.
After food and cake, it was time to explore the farm more and we headed to the petting zoo which was especially reserved for the birthday boy and his friends!
Hussein and his friends loved feeding the baby goats with milk bottles.
Elder sister, Zeynab, also had a great time!
It was the joy on Hussein’s face that made our day!
There were many farm animals to meet and the kids loved this horse who was also five years old like Hussein.
And as if all this fun was not enough, there was a tractor ride to roam the farm! Birthdays at Kayben Farms are super happening!
As we stepped off the tractor ride, we were welcomed by delicious icecream treats for all the guests—also a part of the party package!
All guests get admission for the whole day at the farm and the icecream gave the children energy for just that! They enjoyed the numerous play structures on the property for a little while more, before we were reluctantly ready to call it a day.
