Staying active as a family is super important to us in all seasons. We were at the Southland Leisure Centre recently to explore all the amenities and had a great time!
The kids enjoyed bouncing in the wave pool, sliding down the water slides and getting drenched in the water play area. We relaxed in the hot pool later.
I loved how there was something for every age. There were the bigger slides for the more adventurous, smaller slides for the little kids, and a warm shallow pool for babies and toddlers.
There is a small concession shop to buy snacks to enjoy on the deck area, separate from the pool. So you can really make a day out of the activities.
We had a great family afternoon. There is also a lot more included in your monthly pass, including access to the squash and racquetball courts, weight and cardio equipment, gymnasium, steam room, hot pool and lots more!
The new Recreation pass gives access to more recreation through two monthly pass options with easy renewal: the Rec pass and the Rec pass plus, which provides greater access. There is no commitment because you can cancel any time. There is also no signup fees.
