After the excitement of Ramadan and Eid-ul-fitr, I always feel that Eid-ul-Adha doesn’t get as much of a buzz. This year I started researching some Hajj crafts and resources to teach children about Hajj and Eid-ul-Adha in engaging ways. I have compiled all the Hajj crafts and resources below for you all.
Hajj Crafts: Ideas and Resources to Teach Children in Fun Ways
1. Hajj Activity Book
The Hajj Activity Book written by Jameela Ho is great for young children to practice fine motor skills and learn about Hajj in an interactive way. You can download the PDF from this link.
2. Hajj Maze
Download and print this maze for your children lovingly made by Iman Home School Blog.
3. Hajj Craft Printable
This printable by Lunar Learners is one of my most favorite Hajj crafts. My eight-year-old is extremely crafty and loved putting this together. Plus you can have age-appropriate conversations with your children about all the Hajj activities. Download the PDF with instructions from here.
4. Hajj Word search
Print this Hajj word search by Iman Homeschool Blog and ask your children to complete the activity. Talk to them about all the words once they are done. You can download the PDF here.
5. Hajj Paper Dolls
I love paper dolls in all shapes and forms, so HAD to include these in my list of Hajj crafts.
Download and print the two images below from this site. Lots of opportunity for conversations and pretend play as you color and then cut the dolls and their clothes.
6. Setting A Hajj scene
I loved the simple Hajj scene that my friend Kiran from Up A Notch Gifts set up using supplies all available at home.
